Eric M. Schiffer

Eric is certified by the State Bar of California’s Board of Legal Specialization as an Appellate Law Specialist (one of only about 350 statewide). Eric has personally handled dozens of appeals in both state and federal appellate courts across the country on a wide variety of issues, many of which have resulted in published opinions. Eric is also an experienced litigator, having practiced extensively in the areas of business, real estate and financial services (including lending, servicing, escrow and title), and intellectual property (including trademark, trade dress and copyright infringement). Eric has extensive legal experience and has developed an unparalleled ability to manage all facets of litigation while providing personal, high-quality attention to his clients’ legal needs. Eric is known and trusted for his candid legal analyses and written legal product.
In addition to the practice of law, Eric also donates his time by serving on non-profit boards, including the boards of the Westminster Community Playhouse, as well as Temple Beth David of Westminster, where he served as president for four years. He has also served as Consultant to the Center for California Homeowner Association Law, and has testified on several occasions before the State Senate and State Assembly on proposed HOA legislation. Eric has also presented numerous seminars on topics including preservation of evidence, handling intellectual property litigation, preparing corporate clients for depositions, and various topics in lending litigation.
